Investment Strategy
The investment seeks as high a level of current income, exempt from federal income tax and New York State and City personal income taxes, as is consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests in municipal money market securities. It invests at least 80% of assets in municipal securities whose interest is exempt from federal and New York State and City personal income taxes. The fund invests up to 20% of assets in municipal securities whose interest is subject to New York State and City personal income taxes. It invests more than 25% of total assets in municipal securities that finance similar types of projects.
